Shooting involving off-duty sergeant

WEST OAK LANE - November 17, 2008 - It happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of Renovo Street in Philadelphia's West Oak Lane Section.

The shooting victim, described only as a male, suffered a gunshot wound.

He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center in serious condition.

The off-duty sergeant was not injured.

No word yet on what lead up to the shooting.
