Student injured in East Falls home invasion

EAST FALLS - November 19, 2008 Two armed men with bandanas over their faces barged into the off campus house sometime before 2 a.m. on the 3500 block of New Queen Street in the East Falls section of Philadelphia.

One student tried to block the intruder at the door with his foot and suffered an injury.

The students were taken into the basement, tied up, and had a blanket put over their heads. The suspects went back upstairs, and when the victims didn't hear movement in the home they were able to get themselves free.

The suspects made off with a 42" plasma TV, a flat screen TV, a play station, games, 2 computers, cell phones and numerous other items.

Police are investigating.
