Four people hurt in crash

NEWARK, Del. - November 22, 2008 - It happened around 7:50 p.m. Friday on a railroad overpass on Red Mill Road near Ruthar Drive in Newark, Delaware.

Police say a Chevy Blazer appears to have hit a patch of ice, crossed the center line, and slammed into an Olsmobile.

A 19-year-old woman from Georgia driving the car was critically hurt in the wreckage. She remains hospitalized. Three others in the vehicles involved were treated for injuries at a hospital, then released.

Police continue to investigate the crash.
