Accident snarls traffic on I-95 in Chester

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating an accident along I-95 southbound in the vicinity of the Commodore Barry Bridge. One person was transported to Crozer-Chester hospital only as a precaution to be checked out.

State Police tell Action News that one vehicle was struck by a tire from a truck.

The accident, which happened around 7:30 a.m., snarled traffic in the area while crews worked to clear the scene.

Traffic has since reopened.
