10th Annual Thanksgiving Parade Preview!

In memory of Lenny Lannon
PHILADELPHIA - November 26, 2008 - But when a magical statue is stolen from the highest point in the city, dark clouds form and threaten the Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Join Dann Cuellar as he travels from the 6abc studios to Santa's workshop at the North Pole, working to put everything right before the holiday begins.

Don't miss his special guest stars, who show up just in the "Nick" of time.

-------

This is the 10th consecutive year that Dann and his team provided this unqiue Thanksgiving Day Parade preview.

Each year, we try to have a few surprises throughout. This year will be no different.

With great help from talented graphic & animation artist Chris Prasol, we will have all sorts of stunts: Thunder, rain, snow, an unbelievable storm brewing over Center City, plus a flight to the North Pole and a flight to the Comcast Tower in an effort to save the big parade.

There will be guests appearances from Regis &Kelly, Dave Roberts, Don Polec, Denise James, and a surprise guest to end the segment by singing a holiday carol.

It's incredible how many people bend over backwards to help us put this together. Statues of William Penn are hard to get and if it wasn't for Greta Greenberger of the City's Tours office at City Hall, the skit probably would not have worked.

And who would have ever thought that our assignment manager, Tanya Husar, would make such an amazing Mrs. Claus!

When we were not able to get atop the Comcast Tower due to construction, Kevin Phelan saved the day by taking a picture of the tower roof and making us a ledge that looks exactly like th one up there.

Lisa Thomas-Laury has been a tremendous help to us the last two years and we will forever be grateful!

Thanks also to Photographers Jason Marraccini, Yuri Gershman, Neil Ortiz, Dan Sheridan who have been there all throughout, Editors Matt Admachak and Joe Riffits for their tremendous editing skills, President of Technology Brian Smith, and our jack-of-all trades producer Cheryl Mettendorf.
