Last fall, about 3,000 birds had taken to calling home several prominent areas on campus, including around the Old Main building and the bus stop in front of the main campus gate.
A spokesman for the school's physical plant office says efforts are going somewhat slow so far. They're using flares and noisemakers to try to scare the crows off campus and into wooded areas.
With students on Thanksgiving break, workers hope the loud noises won't cause as much a distraction this week.
