Carjackers shoot, wound man in Philly

The driver was shot in the back and 2 men took his car. Philadelphia police tell Action News a man fell victim to a pair of carjackers who shot him in the back Friday night.

The shooting around 6 p.m. at 10th Street, near Glenwood Avenue.

Police say the 25-year-old victim was shot in the back as he drove a 2006 blue Chevy Impala.

The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical but stable condition.

The victim's car was later recovered about a half mile from the crime scene. Investigators are still gathering evidence in the case.
