Addicted to cable TV shopping

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - December 3, 2008

A former bank teller claims she was addicted to cable TV shopping.

Cassandra Ryder has pleaded guilty to embezzling from the Copperhill, Tenn., bank where she used to work.

Ryder tells investigators she often used the bank's money to pay for things she saw on TV.

She's been sentenced to 15 months in prison for embezzling $134,000.

In addition to the prison time, Ryder must pay back the money.
