20-year-old Michael P. Morrone was arrested at his Marlton home, according to New Jersey State Police.

The hit and run happened around 3:30 a.m Friday in a parking lot near Schuylkill Hall, a dorm on the university's south campus.

The victim, Christine McGhee of Warminster, Bucks County, suffered serious head injuries.

McGhee was found by campus police, lying on the pavement. She was flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown.

Late Friday, police described her condition as critical.

McGhee, currently a sophomore, is a 2006 graduate of William Tennent High School.

"She's just delightful, she has a wonderful demeanor, very pleasant," said neighbor Kerry McGrory. "I've had her babysit for my children when they were younger."

A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered by the Berks County Crime Alert.

State police have not yet said if McGhee was alone, or with others, at the time she was injured.

Morrone is charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.
