Suspect in infant beating surrenders

A suspect wanted in connection with the brutal beating of an infant has surrendered to police.

According to Upper Darby Police, Henry Paris III turned himself in early Saturday morning. Paris is charged with aggravated assault and related offenses.

Police say the battered 3 month old boy was found Monday night by his babysitter inside the family home on the 37-hundred block of Taylor Avenue. The boy suffered a fractured skull and broken ribs. He's been upgraded to stable condition.
