1 rescued from Coatesville blaze

Firefighters in Chester County rescued one person from a raging house fire overnight. Crews were called out to 40 Strode Avenue in Coatesville around 12:24 a.m. after receiving 911 calls reporting the blaze. Firefighters arrived to find flames shooting from the home.

One person was rescued from the home.

Several neighboring fire companies were called in to assist the Coatesville Fire Department. Crews were able to get the upper hand on the fire at 1:04.

The fire remains under investigation.
