The "Pride of Nevada" band from Elko High plans to be in Washington next month for the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama.
And they intend to go, whether they're invited or not.
Elko band director Walt Lovell says he hasn't received any official word yet.
But other bands have already gotten their invitations.
Lovell says if the Elko band doesn't march down Pennsylvania Avenue, members will take in the sights.
He says they've already booked their hotel rooms in Baltimore for the five-day trip.
