His house needs more Christmas lights

A mere 17,000 lights aren't enough for Craig Patterson.

This year, he's upped his holiday light display to nearly 31,000 bulbs.

His North Roanoke County, Virginia, home draws crowds for the lights and the music.

He even has a soundtrack that plays over a low-power FM transmitter.

Patterson figures he's using about two-thirds of a mile of extension cords.

And his light bill will go about 125 bucks for the month.

But Patterson isn't satisfied.

He says he's already planning changes for next year.
