Police conduct bag search at Bensalem H.S.

BENSALEM, Pa. - December 15, 2008 Officials instated a spot check of back packs as a safety precaution. The routine check was conducted by Bensalem Police.

According to Superintendent Jim Lombardo, the back pack check went smoothly and without incident. It was conducted after Lombardo received information from the police.

Officials are not releasing what information led the high school to conduct the searches.
