Videos released of robbery suspects

PHILADELPHIA - December 18, 2008 - Investigators released two pieces of surveillance video Thursday, in the hopes of tracking down the criminals.

One video was taken on Thanksgiving Day in Port Richmond, where a man grabs a register draw in the Sunoco at 2750 Aramingo Avenue.

The clerk struggles with the robber, who gets away with an undetermined amount of cash.

Then, on December 6th, two robbers entered Jerry's Fashion at 3251 North Front Street. One man is armed.

"At one point they take two customers and two employees to the rear of the store. They bound them and tied them up with duct tape. They go through the store and take more than $4,000," said Lt. Frank Vanore of the Philadelphia Police Department.

Fortunately, the customers and workers were not hurt.

The two robbers also took the owner's handgun.
