Robbery sends homeowner to hospital - Philadelphia News

Philadelphia Police are investigating a home invasion that occurred late Friday night in North Philadelphia. The incident happened around 11:00 p.m. in the 1900 block of North Woodstock Street.

Authorities tell Action News that four men wearing masks and armed with guns forced their way into a home and robbed the homeowner of an undetermined amount of cash.

During the robbery and home invasion, the homeowner was struck several times in the face with a gun by one of the males.

Police are continuing their investigation and have not made any arrests.

The homeowner was taken by ambulance to Temple Hospital for his injuries from the attack.
