NJ Transit is offering families a break on train, bus and light rail fares during the holidays. NJ Transit's Family Super Saver program will run from 7 p.m. Wednesday through 6 a.m., Jan. 5.

The program allows up to two children under 12 to ride for free with their parents.

Previously, there was break in discounts between the two holidays.

Off-peak round-trip tickets, which offer savings up to 15 percent, will also be valid on all NJ Transit trains during the period.
