The vehicle was last seen heading west on Luzerne Street from "M" Street. The victim was taken to Temple University Medical Center where he later died.
Police say the striking vehicle is a dark colored Ford Expedition made between 1999 and 2001. The vehicle has left front headlight damage.
The victim's identification is not yet being released
According to AID no arrests have been made. Detectives are still searching for the SUV.
