Four injured in trolley accident - Philadelphia News

Four people suffered minor injuries tonight in a three vehicle crash in Southwest Philadelphia, involving a SEPTA trolley. The accident happened around 6:00 p.m. at 59th Street and Elmwood Avenue.

Officials say the accident involved a tow truck, a car, and a route 36 trolley.

The trolley operator was the only injury of those aboard the streetcar.

All four were taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for minor injuries.
