A police cruiser and a civilian vehicle collided. Both vehicles had air bags that deployed.
The officer and at least one civilian were transported by ambulance to Crozer-Chester Hospital for their injuries.
The officer was treated and released from the hospital later in the afternoon.
No word on what led to the crash.
