Police say a young woman, who had recently broken up with her boyfriend, was fatally stabbed by him after he forced his way inside her home.
Investigators say that man then stabbed himself. He was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in critical condition.
Charges are pending against the man should he survive his injuries.
Names of those involved have not yet been released.
The victim's younger sister was home at the time but was not harmed.
