Man found dead after Camden fire

CAMDEN, N.J. - January 1, 2009 - The two-alarm fire began near the intersection of Mt. Ephraim Avenue and Browning Street at around 2:00 a.m. Thursday.

Firefighters found a man in his 50s dead in a second floor bedroom.

Investigators say the blaze started in the front living room on the first floor of the building.

There's no official word on the cause of the fire.

The man who died has not yet been identified.

Two homes on either side of the burned house were also damaged.
