PHILADELPHIA - January 4, 2009
The officer and the driver of a Nissan collided near Spruce Street around 4:00 this morning.
The impact of the crash caused both vehicles air bags to deploy. The officer received a minor injury to his leg and was taken to Hahnehmann Hospital and is in good condition. The female driver of the striking car was not injured.
No word yet on who is at fault.
