Prosecutor Brian Robertson told the jury Wednesday that Romeo was part of a group involved in the fight. Robertson says Mayo punched Romeo in the face and Rome pulled out a gun and fired multiple times.
However, Romeo's attorney Jan van Amerongen said the state's case relies on the accounts of witnesses who were involved in the fight and who might not want to admit their own actions.
