Police in Oregon accuse a man of getting a little hot under the collar -- after he was told he couldn't smoke in a club.

Officers in Medford charge William Gary Wahl set a "No Smoking" sign on fire.

Witnesses told police a bouncer had told Wahl he couldn't smoke inside The Office nightclub because of the state's new anti-smoking law.

Police say Wahl went into the restroom to smoke and the bouncer followed.

That's when police say Wahl put his lighter to the "No Smoking" sign.

Wahl's been charged with reckless burning and disorderly conduct.
