Nuns robbed in Phila. convent - Philadelphia News

Philadelphia Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a Torresdale convent early Saturday morning. It happened at the Holy Family Convent in the 9800 block of Frankford Avenue around 4:30 a.m.

Police say the man broke into the convent and stole over $100, a computer, and the personal items of 19 nuns inside, including a silver cross from a 94-year-old nun.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5'10".

He was last seen wearing a black shirt and a gray hood.

He was seen driving a white van with no hubcaps.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
