Victim in Voorhees accident identified

VOORHEES, N.J. - January 12, 2009 Police say 49-year-old Robin Yeager of Voorhees was struck at the intersection of Burnt Mill and White Horse Roads at around 6:00 a.m. Monday.

Police say the driver was a 21-year-old man from Lindenwold who struck Yeager as she was crossing the road.

Investigators say that driver stopped and called police.

However, that driver had a suspended license, and faces possible criminal chages.

Yeager was pronounced dead at Underwood Hospital.

Neither the driver, nor his 25-year-old passenger, were hurt.
