NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - January 12, 2009
Police say Joshua Thomas stole the guns from two elderly people
as they slept Nov. 23. He allegedly removed the guns from a case in
the basement.
Authorities caught up with Thomas when they found him in a car
stopped for unrelated reasons. Investigators say they were able to
restore the obliterated serial number on a gun Thomas was carrying
and linked the gun to the burglary.
Police haven't found the other weapons.
