Thieves break in, vandalize Overbrook H.S.

Philadelphia police are investigating an overnight break in, theft and vandalism at Overbrook High School. School district officials say that school police discovered the break in around 4:00 this morning.

In all there were 9 rooms vandalized - 6 of those are administration offices and 3 are classrooms.

Somewhere between 10 and 12 laptops were taken.

Other damage includes broken windows and graffiti.

Students were kept in the school auditorium for a majority of the morning while authorities conducted the investigation.

At this time police have no known suspects. It's not clear if there are cameras inside the building which may have captured the vandalism and theft in progress.
