Woman, boyfriend accused in killing

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP) - January 12, 2009 Police now know the identity of a man's body found in Atlantic County and the victim's daughter is one of two people charged with killing him. Twenty-two-year-old Christina Rubin is suspected of plotting to kill her father with the help of her boyfriend, 20-year-old Jeffrey Lein-heiser.

Prosecutors say the couple carried out the plan in November, when Leinheiser shot 46-year-old Marc Rubin in his Abington home. According to wire reports, Rubin and Leinheiser left Marc Rubin's body in an apartment for about a week before disposing of it.

Rubin's body was found days later, dumped in a secluded area in Hamilton Township.

Police were able to link Leinheiser to the murder weapon while investigating a separate, accidental shooting at a local hotel.

A third suspect, Daniel Dougherty is accused of helping to dispose of Mr. Rubin's body. He has been jailed on a number of charges.

Both Christina Rubin and Jeffrey Leinheiser are jailed without bail.
