MEADVILLE, Pa. (AP) - January 14, 2009
Pamela Darnley, of Meadville, faces a preliminary hearing Jan.
22 on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child on Monday.
State police say a maintenance worker found the baby in a crib when
he arrived to fix something at her apartment about 3 p.m.
Police say Darnley used a computer at the apartment complex's

was alone. Police say she was surfing the Internet and checking
e-mail.
The baby is in Crawford County custody. Darnley remains jailed
unable to post $50,000 bond.
