Car plunges off I-95; 1 injured

BRIDESBURG - January 15, 2009 It happened around 6:00 p.m. on the ramp connecting the westbound Betsy Ross Bridge to Northbound I-95.

Police say the 33-year-old male driver lost control of his vehicle and went off the highway plunging at least 50 feet to the ground.

The victim was trapped in the wreckage for about 10 minutes before being freed.

The victim was transported to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.
