Severe cold breaking water mains

PHILADELPHIA - January 16, 2009 A team is out in Willow Grove, Pa., repairing a bread that happened shortly after 5 a.m. Davisville Road near York Road. Traffic is being detoured around that part of Montgomery County.

In Philadelphia's University City section, an 8-inch water main broke at about 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of 33rd & Chestnut Streets on Drexel University's campus in front of the Newman Center. Officials spotted water flowing down the side walk and icing up, but there's no reports of other damage.
