A teacher arrested in a child porn bust has entered a guilty plea.James Atkinson III was one of 13 people arrested in mid-December.

Atkinson, of Pitman, New Jersey, taught at West Deptford High School. He was charged with possession of child pornography.

He was suspended after his arrest.

The prosecutor's office says it will recommend that Atkinson be sentenced to between three and five years on probation.

He also will be required to relinquish his state teacher's certificate, forfeit the right to any future public employment in New Jersey and have restricted internet use, including no social networking sites.

Atkinson will forfeit all seized computer equipment and must undergo a psychological evaluation.

Atkinson is married with three children.

Atkinson's arrest and that of six other adults and six juveniles stemmed from an ongoing investigation and crackdown by the "Internet Crimes Against Children" task force.

The New Jersey State Police, Gloucester County Prosecutors and Monroe Township Police worked together on the cases as described as 13 separate investigations.

The material, officials say, was graphic and involved children ages 4 to 14.
