Man sought in knife-point robbery

NEW CASTLE, Del. - Janaury 16, 2009 A male suspect entered the store, walked passed the front of counter, and then made a left to come behind the service counter. The clerk then observed the suspect had a knife in his right hand. The suspect then demanded cash.

The victim lunged at the suspect and the knife fell to the floor. The suspect in turn physically attacked the clerk who fell to the ground and hit her head. The suspect then removed an undisclosed amount of money from the business and fled the scene in an unknown direction.

It should be known that this crime was witnessed by the victim's 4-year-old and 8-year-old children.

The suspect is determined to be a black male, approximately 18-20 years of age, 5'08"-5'10", medium build, wearing dark sweatshirt with emblem on left chest area, black mask, and faded baggy blue jeans.
