3-alarm fire strikes at senior home

Camden County Fire officials are fighting a multi-alarm fire at a senior center this morning. The fire broke out at around 8:30 at the Lindenwold Towers on the 600 block of Emerson Avenue in Lindenwold. The fire quickly went to a third alarm.

The fire was brought under control just before 9:00 a.m.

Initial reports are saying that multiple people are trapped inside. Firefighters are attempting rescues at this time.

So far, one person has been transported to an area hospital with unknown conditions.
