Wilmington fire officials say a weekend blaze at a vacant home that spread to an occupied home was intentionally set. The fire Saturday evening in the 1400 block of West Second Street displaced four adults and seven children.

Officials say flames were seen shooting from the first floor of the vacant three-story semidetached house. The flames spread to the second floor of the attached home.

Firefighters needed 75 minutes to control the blaze, but no one was hurt.
