Boy sues JROTC teacher in sex case

EVANS CITY, Pa. (AP) - January 21, 2009 The lawsuit names 51-year-old retired Sgt. Maj. Kevin Johnson, of Portersville, and the Seneca Valley School District in Butler County, about 25 miles north of Pittsburgh.

Johnson in March was ordered to stand trial on 70 counts of corruption of minors, indecent assault and related counts after two boys testified about sexual contact with Johnson at Seneca Valley High School. One boys says Johnson threatened to "take out" the boy's family if he told anyone.

The boy in the lawsuit is not named but says he is one of those involved in the criminal case.

Johnson has pleaded not guilty to the criminal charges.
