More victims in bus driver sex abuse case

DOVER, Del. - January 23, 2009 - Police say those victims made themselves known after seeing reports of 32-year-old Woodrow Brown's prior arrest on January 1st.

In the first incident, a 17-year-old Camden boy said he was a family friend of Brown, and said that Brown repeatedly asked him to reveal his genitals.

The teen told investigators he had to kick Brown to get him to stop soliciting these acts.

In the second incident, a seven-year-old girl told authorities she was touched by Brown on a school bus, telling them Brown gave her candy and would rub her shoulders.

In one incident in early 2008, the girl told police Brown rubbed her buttocks. On another occasion, the girl told authorities, Brown began to rub her inner thigh and moved toward her genital area.

Detectives still believe there could be additional victims and are urging anyone who may have been violated by Mr. Brown, who also is widely known by his nicknames of J.R. and Woody, to contact investigators at Troop 3 at (302) 697-2104 ext 307.
