Police say a 23-year-old man was shot six times in an unknown incident.
Still conscious, the man approached a blue car driven by an 80-year-old man.
Police say the 23-year-old tried to drag the driver out of the vehicle, but the man was still strapped into his seatbelt.
Still, the 23-year-old managed to get into the seat, and drive the car with the 80-year-old hanging out of the car, still in his seatbelt.
The drive only lasted a block before he passed out, crashing into a black Toyota before slamming into another car.
Police say the young man's friends arrived, put him in a car, and took him to Frankford Torresdale Hospital.
He is in critical condition, but is expected to survive his injuries.
The elderly man was taken to Temple Hospital, suffering from a severed thumb. He is also expected to survive.
