Hollywood Tans to Offer Free Tans on April 4, 2009
SEWELL, N.J. - MARCH 26, 2009 - Hollywood Tans, the nation's largest indoor tanning company, announces it will give away free tans to all customers at participating salons in celebration of TanNation Independence Day, Saturday, April 4.
The free tan day marks the kick-off of Hollywood Tans' new loyalty program, TanNation, aimed at developing a dynamic online tanning community.
"Indoor tanning has become increasingly social," says Hollywood Tans' Senior Tanologist Sue Lutter. "Many customers come in groups - bridal parties, college students, couples. TanNation is about creating a vibrant community for people who enjoy tanning, and rewarding loyal customers with special offers and promotions."
Customers can sign up for TanNation online at www.hollywoodtans.com, where they will gain access to regular promotions and tanning news. Hollywood Tans' TanNation also exists as an online community on Facebook.
According to the Indoor Tanning Association, approximately 30 million people – or 10 percent of the American public – visit an indoor tanning facility each year. The total economic impact of professional indoor tanning facilities is estimated at $5 billion and growing.
