Police swooped in around 10:00 p.m. last night, where 40 to 50 people were inside.
15 were taken into custody, but most fled as soon as the cops arrived.
Investigators found 58 birds, many used for cockfighting, with some considered fancies, 8 parrots, roosters of all kinds, along with hens and peeps.
It all came as a surprise to neighbors who say the homeowners moved in about a month ago and were making extensive renovations on the house.
Apparently, one neighbor alerted police about the noise, but one neighboring couple told Action News they never realized cockfighting was occurring right next door.
The birds will remain at the SPCA as long as they are part of the criminal investigation.
