Biden says she is thrilled to return to the classroom. She has been a teacher for more than 28 years in Delaware, including 15 years teaching English composition at Delaware Technical and Community College. She previously worked as a reading specialist and English teacher in Delaware public schools.
Biden holds two master's degrees in English and reading and earned a doctorate in education in 2007 from the University of Delaware. Her dissertation was focused on how to retain students in community colleges.
