Getting some espect for bolo ties

The bolo tie could be getting some respect in New Mexico.

It's already the state's official neckwear.

But the Western fashion classic isn't allowed on the floor of the state House of Representatives.

But that could soon change.

A House rules committee has approved modification of the legislature's dress code.

Now, the issue of string ties goes to the House floor for a vote.

The lawmaker who sponsored the measure say his colleagues will look very Southwestern in their bolo ties.
