Philly police make homicide arrest

A man is under arrest for a December murder. Police arrestd 34-year-old James Williford Friday morning for a shooting that killed 19-year-old Samantha Houston.

Willford was arrested at a home on the 3500 block of North 15th Street.

Police knocked on the door and were allowed by a resident to enter, and they found Williford hiding behind the water heater in the building's basement.

On December 1, 2008, police found Samantha Houston, 20-year-old Amin Payne and 3-year-old Amin Payne all shot. Investigators were called to a home on the 3300 block of Mutter Street just after 5 a.m. on December 1.

Williford faces murder, attempted murder, burglary and other charges.
