Coatesville hit with 18th arson

COATESVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA - February 4, 2009

It's the 18th arson in and around Coatesville this year.

The fire was set about 9:30 on Tuesday night, on the back porch of a house on the 100 block of Chester Avenue.

Firefighters got to the house quickly and put out the flames in just a few minutes.

The fire damaged the back of the house, but did not injure anyone.

Officials in the Chester County community will conduct a special trash cleanup of porches on Wednesday.

And on Wednesday night, the city is holding a neighborhood watch information meeting.

There is a $20,000. reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the arson or arsonists who have set these fires.
