Tourists asked to keep their pants on

SAO PAULO (AP) - February 4, 2009

That's the warning from Brazilian authorities to a pair of German tourists.

Police charge the men changed their clothes in the lobby of a Brazilian airport, while waiting for their flight back home.

The men, in their 60's, were questioned for two hours, then allowed to leave the country.

Authorities say the naked men claimed they thought that sort of thing was normal in Brazil.

They were formally accused of obscenity and could face up to year in prison if tried and convicted.
