TD Bank robbed

The Hatboro Police Department and the Ft. Washington office of the F.B.I. are investigating the robbery of the TD Bank located at 256 S. York Road, Hatboro.

Hatboro Police responded to the bank at 4:38 p.m. on Tuesday following a report from a bank teller indicating she had been robbed.

Police reported that the suspect entered the bank and approached a teller. The subject presented a note to the teller demanding money. Although no weapon was displayed, the note indicated the male had a gun.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of currency the subject fled the bank on foot. The subject was last scene heading north along York Road.

The subject is described as a white male, early to mid 40's, 6'0" - 6'2", average build, scruffy (unshaven), last seen wearing glasses, a light blue knit ski cap, light brown waist length jacket, work boots.
