Bank robbery in Hunting Park

HUNTING PARK - February 5, 2009 - It happened around 1:50 p.m. Thursday.

Police say the man, who was wearing a bandana on his face, went up to the teller window and took out a gun. He demanded money, and the teller gave him two bags of cash with dye packs in them.

The man then fled the bank on foot, running south on 6th Street, when one of the dye packs exploded. The man kept running.

The FBI and Philadelphia police are investigating.
