Two women escaped injury overnight when a fast moving fire ripped through their home in Bellmawr. Fire broke out around 2:00 a.m. in the 500 block of Majestic Avenue, destroying the 1 and a half story home.

Firefighters from 3 different towns helped Bellmawr fire crews battle the blaze. They fought the blaze for about one hour before bringing the blaze under control.

One firefighter sustained minor injuries while battling the blaze. He was treated and released from an area hospital for a cut on his arm.

This is the second fire in 12 hours to occur in Bellmawr. The other fire happened yesterday on Summit Avenue. No injuries were reported from that fire.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Camden County Fire Marshal's office.

No word on what sparked the blaze.
